JazzFest Berlin presented in partnership with Roulette
Exclusive Thanksgiving Weekend Rebroadcast on ESS’s The Quarantine Concerts
Fostering intercontinental cooperation in spite of the pandemic, Jazzfest Berlin joins forces with Roulette to present a two-day concert marathon between the cutting edge scenes of Berlin and New York, with live acts on both sides of the Atlantic. Originally broadcast on November 6th and 7th, the festival features a diverse selection of twelve groups from the two cities presented live in situ at Roulette and silent green in Berlin and broadcast via live stream. In this unique scenario, six brilliant, stylistically diverse New York-Berlin tandems will enter into a musical dialogue. The New York portion of the festival will be moderated by Nate Chinen and Keanna Faircloth of WBGO.org.
