About Sydney Spann
Sydney Spann, originally from Baltimore, MD, is a musician based in New York. They work with synthesis, household electronics, amateur acoustic instrumentation and voice to make studio compositions and live performances. Lately their work sublimates the latent aggressions of feminized labor into anxious and beautiful music. They are one half of Iris Our with Kiera Mulhern and they collaborate with Theodore Cale Schafer, Madeline Stepien, and Michelle Luong. Previous releases include full length albums for Recital and Reading Group.
