Today's Dive is a special one as we memorialize the life of Harrison Bankhead, the Chicago musical legend who passed away earlier this year. Bankhead was a friend within the ESS community, and his work is archived across a number of collections in the Creative Audio Archive.

Martinez’s installation centers the idea that what we know about the peregrine falcon is what we imagine the falcon to be. This multichannel sound installation will open to the public in September 2023, in conjunction with the Chicago Architecture Biennial.
