You’ll never lack for things to do on a summery Sunday afternoon in Chicago, but the Option Series is one of a kind. Curated by musicians Andrew Clinkman, Lily Glick Finnegan, and Ken Vandermark, it presents weekly performances and conversations with improvising musicians in the backyard of the Experimental Sound Studio (in the event of rain, things move inside). Jake Meginsky’s concert is the third on the 2024 schedule, which began June 9 and will run through the end of August.
