The ESS Studio Group is a special ESS membership level that connects music, sound, and audio technology enthusiasts with a series of behind-the-scenes recording studio experiences in and around Chicago. Dive deeper into the process of how music and sound art is made with a curated roster of engineers and experts throughout the year.

This group is open to anyone interested in diving deeper into the process of how music and sound art makes its way from the artists’ brain into our ears. In the spirit of ESS, we’ll not only explore more conventional (but still fascinating!) processes, but also talk with some of the folks pushing the boundaries of the industry. Space is limited.
