Morton Feldman Chamber Players, in an ongoing partnership with Experimental Sound Studio, will present two world premieres for piano and voice, and piano and electronics, respectively. Kurt Isaacson's (USA) vanishing species is a part of animal-inspired works that artfully and abstractly tackles issues of animal rights and appreciation of species of the past and present, both vanished and vanishing. Marielle Groven's (CAN) Slow Movement builds a vast spatial setting for melodic contours that unravel with, at once, intensity and serenity.
