Tatsu Aoki Collection

The Tatsu Aoki Collection consists of Tatsu's private collection of recordings of his time with the Fred Anderson Trio. Recorded mostly to DAT tape at the Velvet Lounge, this material features primarily the trio consisting of Tatsu Aoki, Fred Anderson, and Hamid Drake, but also features a revolving cast of players and improvisors like Chad Taylor, Maurice Brown, Donald Barnett Jr., Bill Brimfield, etc,.

The original materials in this collection are owned By Kioto Aoki and AIRMW, and with their permission selected recordings have been made available here for research and educational purposes.
