The Alba Sonic Arts Residency is a three-month residency at ESS in which all of the organization’s resources and platforms are made available to a graduating MFA student from Art + Technology / Sound Practices (AT/SP) at the School of the Art Institute Chicago (SAIC).

The Spain/Chicago Artist Exchange is a collaboration between ESS in Chicago and the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain to connect sound artists working in each respective location.

The Wavefront Artist Residency is an international artist residency partnership between ESS and soundpocket, a sonic arts organization based in Hong Kong.
