About Sydney Spann
Sydney Spann, originally from Baltimore, MD, is a musician based in New York. They work with synthesis, electronics, and voice to make studio compositions and live performances. Lately their work sublimates the latent aggressions of feminized labor into anxious and beautiful music. Previous releases include full length albums for Recital and Reading Group.
About OPTION
OPTION is an ongoing music salon curated by Chicago musicians Andrew Clinkman, Lily Finnegan, and Dorothy Carlos and presented by Experimental Sound Studio. Its programming explores contemporary perspectives on improvisation and composition in a ‘salon’ format, enabling local, national, and international artists to publicly discuss their practice and ideas as well as perform.
