Clark w/ Mode Hexe

Description

ESS is excited to partner with Outset on a special evening with Clark (Throttle, Warp, Deutsche Grammaphon). The UK-based artist is on tour supporting his 2025 album “Steep Stims”.

The rhythm-centric record uses constraint as a creative device. Built using an  Access Virus synth, drum machine, and detuned piano, Clark crafts dance-ready exploration of timbre with a crystalline drive. 

Our very own James Wetzel (Mode Hexe), director for the Creative Audio Archive, opens the evening with a set of electronics/drum performance.
