Experience modern and traditional methods of sound healing through live electronic and acoustic music in this meditative sound bath hosted by sound healer Lavender Suarez. Working with the neurobiological phenomena known as “brainwave entrainment,” the music in this workshop helps facilitate relaxation. Even if you have never meditated before, the sounds will create an immersive experience as they move in gradual waves, subtly shifting in frequency and volume to help the mind become calm and centered. Participants will also be guided through gentle seated breathing and movement meditations.
Please bring a yoga mat and dress in comfortable clothing as participants will be lying down for the majority of the workshop. You are also welcome to bring a blanket, pillow and eye mask for additional comfort.
