In the spirit of Black Liberation Day, Liberation Dialogues celebrates new voices of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM). The AACM is a vehicle that challenges its new members to experiment with new concepts, expressions and musical languages, while centered in the celebration of Great Black Music. For Juneteenth, Ugochi Nwaogwugwu (vocals), Mankwe Ndosi (vocals), Adam Zanolini (woodwinds), Khari Lemuel (cello) and Jeff Harris (bass) will create spontaneous musical dialogues inspired by the legacy of Black Liberation Day.
