Systems of Vision is a series featuring artists approaching sound as image-makers and curated by Kioto Aoki. These artists work within a performative framework that considers sound as a responsive system of the photographic & cinematic image. Malleable cycles of image as sound and sound as image create and redefine what it means to see sound and hear an image. Program 5 culminates the Systems of Vision series with a special screening of films made by students from the Sonics and Optics course at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
