BLOTCHOUTS. Out of Los Angeles, this project usually consists of synths, guitars, horns, toys, tape snippets all whirled into a bedroom 4 track angsty artsy noisey punk no wave sound, but tonight’s performance features a banjo. Prolific artist, Yanka recorded 6 albums over the pandemic. Her work is always exciting and unique and sincere and just fucking downright fun.

PATAPHYSICS. These are Austin’s most very ZOLO synth pop wizards of wonderment... enchanted slanted weirdness… fun-time dance party starters… longtime formative in maintaining what it is that we love about the Austin music scene. Basic garage band set up, but stretched to oblong borders of a quirky new wave punk sound… since the early 2000s.

NIGHT VIKING. This old school Austin crew is totally beyond. It’s oddly wrong yet perfectly right, manic creativity. As they all fool around with guitars, keyboards, noise makers, toys, video collage, storytelling and collaboration, it turns into something unexpected. Part theater, part music, part religious, if art can be a religion and a comedy. It’s sincere people being lovely and fun.

HOW I QUIT CRACK. Effects experimenters on the sights and the sounds, this Austin area duo has trail blazed their very own niche of haunting but beautiful, noisey yet intrancing, ritualistic soundtracks. Tina describes it as space age lounge music. There are definitely aliens floating around in there, or maybe they are angels. Oh, and neither member has had a haircut since early 2020.

SAILOR POON. This is Austin’s premier homegrown goddess royalty of art rock coolness. Bow down to the sound of tight, tough, and rowdy,,, while Billie blasts that sax. This band is pretty much gonna rule the world. Big girlboss energy.
