How can you throw a webVR music event without a Unity Certification or a copy of Minecraft? This workshop, intended both for beginners and for artists familiar with other types of creative software, will cover the basics of using Mozilla Hubs to meet up and share streaming audio and video, then take a step further into the Spoke editor to show how you can build your own virtual environment or place audio sources in space for an immersive sound installation.

This event is produced as part of James Gui’s Fall 2021 ESS Curatorial Fellowship. Find out more about the program here, and stream James’ next Quarantine Concert on twitch - more info here.

About Trash Panda QC

Trash Panda QC is a producer, dj, and live performer, formerly releasing under real name Peter Seligman and occasionally as half of noise duo enn{kdog. Trash Panda is a semi-affectionate term for a raccoon and QC doesn't stand for anything. While taking influence from classic rave tunes, the unexpectedly friendly fringes of noise music, and footwork's rhythmic construction, his music is less about fusion and more about leaving history behind for the release of the unknown, characterized by constantly shifting beats, cognitively dissonant change ups, and lots of weird EDM bird noises.
