For an artist, freelancer, small business owner, or other self-employed person, navigating the health insurance landscape can be a stressful experience. In this workshop, Dylan Maysick, a Chicago-based independent insurance broker, covers the basics of various plans, their structures, and what to consider when selecting a plan that will work for an individual’s specific needs and preferences. He will provide an overview of the Affordable Care Act, plans that exist outside of it, and gives insight regarding group plans for businesses. He will be available for questions and consultation following the presentation.
