Chicago drummer Charles Rumback has worked with a wide variety of artists as a co-collaborator and sideman. His second album as a leader, In the New Year, was released in 2015 on ears&eyes Records.

Rumback is a founding member of the collaborative bands Stirrup and Colorlist. As a drummer, he has recorded and performed internationally with artists such as Sima Cunningham, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Nick Macri, Tony Malaby, Ron Miles, Nina Nastasia, Jeff Parker, Ryley Walker and Krystle Warren.
