Jesse Langen (guitar) and Amanda DeBoer Bartlett (soprano) have worked together in multiple configurations since 2008. Along with a shared passion for experimental and contemporary classical musics, which they have collaborated on in the context of Ensemble Dal Niente, they enjoy exploring Americana improvisations with experimental soundcapes and jaunty lyricism. Merging their shared interests, they have developed a program featuring commissions from multiple high-impact composers, including Marcos Balter, Morgan Krauss, and Chris Fisher-Lochhead, and as well as their own compositions.
