Using a combination of exercises, games, structures, and solo/group interactions, this 2-day workshop explores extending the voice and the body. The approach of Blonk and Meyer does not limit these explorations to conventional notions of singing or dance, but opens the boundaries to include speech, phonemic experiments, kinetics, pose, etc. Participants with either voice or movement experience are welcome, at all levels of expertise, but with a willingness to experiment. The workshop will culminate in a public performance on March 11 at 8PM at ESS.
